Meet the Team

Brett is the founding director of Partum Engineering, having overseen the company’s growth from a team of three. With over 20 years of experience in electrical design, engineering, and business management, Brett has delivered projects across various sectors, including utilities, mining, oil & gas, water, airports, rail, government, private developers, and HV customers.

His expertise spans cost estimating and scheduling, site audits and feasibility studies, specifications and procurement, detailed design and engineering, power and earthing system analysis, factory and site acceptance testing, and EPC project and contract management. Brett has successfully delivered projects both in Australia and internationally.

Frank is the National Manager at Partum Engineering, where he oversees the strategic growth and operational delivery within the T&D lines and cables team. With over 20 years’ experience in the power industry, Frank provides a wealth experience in power utility, renewable and mining projects. Frank has a proven track record in overseeing complex T&D line projects, from initial feasibility studies to completion, while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Crina has been a key figure in advancing the National Electricity Market (NEM) transition to renewable energy through her expertise in substation design, high-voltage equipment selection, and transmission network integration.

With over 55 completed projects, Crina’s experience includes design management, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance for complex grid solutions. Notable projects include the ESCRI-SA BESS, Waratah Super Battery, South Australian System Strength (275kV synchronous condensers), and the 500kV and 330kV Central West Orana REZ Concept Design.

In many of these projects, Crina led the design, installation, and testing, contributing significantly to Australia’s transition toward a sustainable energy future.

Jamie Vinci is an experienced Manager in Secondary Systems with over 10 years in the power utilities sector. He excels in optimising operational efficiency, ensuring reliability, and leading high-performing teams. With strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset, Jamie effectively solves problems and fosters innovation. Committed to safety, compliance, and industry best practices, Jamie consistently achieves organisational goals with integrity.

Jordan Goodchild is a Chartered Principal Electrical Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the mining and utilities sector, specialising in Power Systems and Earthing. HIs expertise encompasses project management, power system design, and optimisation of electrical infrastructure. Jordan is committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and sustainability, making him a valuable asset to any project. His strong leadership skills and technical knowledge ensure successful outcomes in complex environments.

With 15 years of technical management experience in Australia, Jurgen leads Partum Engineering’s Lines & Cables Team in Western Australia. His career began 30 years ago in South Africa, where he built expertise in product design and later headed a design department in automotive manufacturing. Since moving to Australia, Jurgen has specialized in MV/LV distribution, power systems analysis, and HV connection submissions for public and mining utilities, including MV switchroom projects. His leadership also extends to managing the distribution and transmission line design team, delivering numerous successful projects. Passionate about his work, Jurgen is a valued team member. Outside of work, he enjoys AFL, F1 racing, beach trips with family and his dog, camping, and supporting his two sons in amateur football.

Rakesh is a principal electrical engineer and chartered professional of Engineers Australia. Rakesh has more than 13 years’ experience covering substation primary electrical, power generation, powerlines designs and leading teams of various disciplines. Rakesh has developed strong expertise in substation primary design to provide innovative solutions for optimisation and future expansions. Rakesh is passionate for cricket and enjoys playing with his young son.
