Cost Estimates & Project Schedules

Through Partum’s design and project delivery experience, cost estimates are built up from the materials and construction tasks. Partum uses several sources including its own internal comprehensive pricing library to ensure competent cost estimates.

What we do

Cost estimates ±50% can be prepared with minimal upfront design documentation allowing clients to allocate budgets for future works or evaluate go/no go decisions.

Through additional engineering and market engagement, Partum can refine the cost estimate to ±30% and even ±10% accuracy. This allows firmer pricing for project approvals.

Our services include:

Cost Estimate

  • Material bill of quantities
  • Labour and plant quantities based on a breakdown of construction tasks
  • Overheads such as engineering, project and construction management

Tender Management

  • Request for tender (RFT) documentation preparation
  • Formulating evaluation criterion
  • Issue of tenders to open market or shortlisted recipients
  • Qualify, evaluate and provide recommendations

Additional Services

This includes the preparation of preliminary project management documentation to provide visibility and ensure the client is adequately prepared. Examples include:

  • Project schedules to understand time frames to required practical completion date
  • Manning histograms to ensure accommodation available
  • Estimates for free issued material items e.g. flights, fuel, potable water, concrete etc.
  • Logistics and freight with mobilizing free issued equipment to site
